Classroom Aide - Soaring Heights Autism Academy
Assists school personnel (director, administrative assistant, teacher, teacher assistant, etc) or student to arrange the school's environment to best meet the student's physical and psychological needs, assist with proper SCM techniques and complete appropriate forms. Perform activities that are designed by the teacher and/or assistant teacher as part of the educational plan, data collection or evaluation of the student. Communicate to the teacher and learning issues that a student(s) may be experiencing with assigned tasks. Observe student conduct and record behavioral observations in the form of anecdotal records as directed by the professional teacher. Demonstrate creativity and flexibility with the daily routine of the school day. Assist with any other needs throughout the building (van duty, laundry, cleaning, dietary, etc.). Monitor students appropriately. Participate in in-service trainings.
High School Diploma.
